News

May 15th, 2013 - Most troll pages have been cleared. Now currently working on updating the wiki's pages. Many pages are outdated or have false information. Please help us out with this project!

May 12th, 2013 - Sorry folks for no news recently. Currently I'm still in the process of removing Troll Pages. I'll be fixing some other pages as well. Also, please stop swearing, when I gain control of the wiki, all swearers will be blocked. :)

May 6th, 2013 - All info about Oobi will be transfered over to the Nick Jr. Wiki within the coming months. (This is mostly title cards, since no episode pages were completed ever). All ties with The Oobi Encyclopedia are already cut off. Thanks and keep enjoying the wiki!

May 5th, 2013 - I am currently working on removing all troll items, pages, etc. Also, any work of Fanfiction will be removed as well. Fanfiction is NOT allowed here on the Nick Jr. Wiki in any way, shape, or form. I will be keeping backups so the creator of these may keep them, but NOT post them here again.

In other news, all SpongeBob SquarePants related pages are to be removed as well. SpongeBob has never aired on Nick Jr., as no proof is given to this. Please don't add anymore SpongeBob related pages to this wiki. Take all SpongeBob pages to the SpongeBob Wiki. :) Also, we will be cutting ties with The Oobi Encyclopedia. The wiki is in horrible disaray and I don't know enough about Oobi to take it into my own hands. I apologize for this. Other wikis shall be kept ties with however.

Also, enough swearing and trolling here. This is a family-friendly wiki and I want discussions to remain civil. Any sign of this will NOT be tolerated and will be dealt with properly. Thank you.

The Backyardigans

The Backyardigans is a Canadian-American 3-D children's TV series, filmed by Janice Burgess. It features 5 animal children, who imagine that their backyard becomes an adventure place. It is a co production of Treehouse TV, and the Canadian animation studio Nelvana. Debuting on November 22, 2004, it was originally directed by Robert Scull. Dave Palmer began directing the show in the middle of Season 01, and has directed all episodes since. It aired on CBS from October 2004 until September 2006. Music for the show is written by Evan Lurie, of The Lounge Lizards, and Douglas Wieselman. On April 30, 2006, Nelvana and Nickelodeon jointly announced that twenty new episodes were ordered for the upcoming fall schedule.[2] In the UK, the second season debuted on October 30, 2006. The third season was released in Canada in March 2008, and the series made its Australian debut in the same year. A fourth season has been produced and is currently being released in Canada as of February 22, 2010. Four DVDs from this series were released on October 13, 2009 (Robot Repairman), January 5, 2010 (Join the Adventurer's Club), March 30 (Escape From the Tower) and July 14, 2010 (Operation Elephant Drop). It airs on Treehouse TV Canada, Nickelodeon, and Nick Jr. and Noggin, before Noggin was renamed Nick Jr.
