Nick Jr.

Current logo Previous logo Nick Jr. is a weekday programming block on Nickelodeon. The block debuted on January 4, 1988, and is aimed at younger children than the rest of Nickelodeon's programming. Since December 2019, the block usually plays on weekdays from 8 AM to 3 PM. On September 28, 2009, Nickelodeon launched a 24-hour cable network named after the block (the Nick Jr. Channel), replacing the channel space previously held by Noggin. The Noggin brand stayed dormant for several years, but it was eventually relaunched as a streaming service in March 2015.
